In FY2021, the Ohio child support program collected $1.7 billion

70% of child support was collected by income withholding from an employee’s paycheck.

95% of child support collected went to families.

 

Child support is one of the most cost-effective government programs. The child support program served 680,000 children statewide.

One in three (3) children are involved in Ohio’s Child Support Program.

In Cuyahoga County, Child Support is being recognized in several ways, including:

 

Family Fun Day

Thursday, August 4

10:30 am – 2 pm

Public Square

Games, food, and a limited number of school supplies will be provided at this free, family event!

 

The historic Terminal Tower will be illuminated in green on Wednesday, August 10th, in recognition of Child Support Awareness Month.
