2023 Caregiver Symposium
Together, We Create a Compassionate Culture for Children in Care!
The North Central Ohio Regional Training Center (NCORTC) and the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services (CCDCFS) are proud to announce the up-coming Caregiver Training Conference, Together, We Create a Compassionate Culture for Children in Care, Friday, May 19, 2023 through Saturday, May 20, 2023. The event is hosted by North Central Ohio Regional Training Center (NCORTC) at the Embassy Suites - Cleveland Rockside Woods Blvd N., Independence, Ohio 44131. This training conference allows kinship caregivers, licensed foster parents, and adoptive parents to come together for the purpose of continuing their professional development and to acquire the skills needed to rejuvenate their passion so they can continue to meet the needs of the children in their care as well as those in need of future placements.
This year’s conference theme, Together, We Create a Compassionate Culture for Children in Care, encourages all caregivers to continue to work with the team of resources to provide a compassionate culture for the children in care. This training opportunity will help to reconnect you with resources, meet other caregivers that share your experiences, provide developmental needs, and help to meet recertification requirements.
