2023 Northeast Ohio Aging and Disability Summit

Coming of Age: Creating Sustainable Solutions to Care

The 2023 NEO Aging and Disability Summit was a resounding success! More than 400 professionals, older adults, and caretakers came together, both in-person and online, for a full day of enriching conversations and compelling presentations focused on revolutionizing care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

The event was skillfully emceed by Danielle Wiggins and Laura Caso from WKYC. Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne and County Councilwoman Meredith Turner provided special opening remarks, emphasizing the critical importance of preparing for our ever-growing aging population. We were honored to have a notable presentation from Diane Shelley, Regional Administrator from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), speaking on behalf of Marcia Fudge. Her timely presentation highlighted HUD's new initiatives and their commitment to supporting underserved communities and advancing sustainable communities.

Our Summit program featured an array of distinguished experts in the field who shared their research and insights, underscoring the pressing need for collaboration and innovation in elder and disability care. Attendees actively engaged in vital conversations and idea exchanges aimed at addressing the evolving needs of older adults.

The dynamic presentations from several of our esteemed speakers are now available for viewing:
