Clinical In-Home Services

The Division of Senior and Adult Services houses a Clinical In-Home Services unit that provides person-centered care to help clients maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment in their own home at an affordable cost. Our clients enjoy peace of mind, knowing they have skilled nurses, case managers and home support professionals providing the services they need to remain comfortable and independent in their own homes.

To be eligible for services, clients must be age 60 and over, or adults with disabilities ages 18 to 59, and living in their own home or apartment.

Clinical In-Home Services Programs
Our Clinical In-Home Services unit offers the following programs:
How our Clinical In-Home Services are covered
In addition to paying privately, eligible clients may also access funding if they are:
  • Living with Multiple Sclerosis (through The MS Society)
  • Living with HIV/AIDS (through the Ryan White Program)
  • Eligible for Medicaid Waiver services
  • In need of acute skilled nursing care (through Medicare and/or Medicaid, Care Source and Buckeye My Care Ohio)
Service fees are based on eligibility and income. Clients and their families speak with our knowledgeable case managers confidentially about their needs and abilities, and we work with them to develop the best plan for their well-being.
